If you are a MLM professional, being able to do an effective MLM presentation is a necessity. Regardless of the company that you are in, you’ll want to include the following seven (7) steps in your presentation in order to make it effective. Leave any of these steps out and you will reduce your ability to close the prospects that are viewing your presentation.
The introduction is designed to edify or provide information about the speaker to the prospects. During the introduction, the speaker’s accomplishments should be highlighted. Include information about their professional background and success that they have had in your MLM company.
Additionally, make sure that you incorporate information that will appeal to the 4 Personality Typesin the introduction. You’ll want to make reference to the fact that the speaker is knowledgeable, enjoys helping people, loves to have fun and is making money (or is positioned to make money) via the company compensation plan. Finally, make sure to request that cell phones are set to silent or turned off so as not to disturb the presentation. The introduction should take no more than 2-3 minutes. Read more
That’s what I thought when I ran across this information! The Wall Street Journal recently included a 40 page section on the direct selling industry.
The supplement was prepared by Direct Selling Newsand recently appeared in the Wall Street Journal. The supplement includes a cover story titled “The Ultimate Social Business Model” which discusses how direct sales is the original social networking business. It further discusses how the personalized presentations of direct sales reps are often educational, entertaining and social which has enabled direct sales to thrive for decades even during recessions.
There is another article titled “The Answer To A Shrinking Job Market” which includes an interview with Paul Zane Pilzer. Professor Pilzer asks the question “What do we do with the 30 million people that are permanently unemployed?” The article mentions that direct sales may have the answer because the business model offers a competitive advantage in the training that is provided. The article further states that direct sales will give people an opportunity when no one else will.
In another article, there is a quote from Jim Cramer who has a show on CNBC called “Mad Money” where he states “Direct selling has never gotten its due from Wall Street. It’s time we recognize that the direct selling model works, and it works well.” There is also another article titled “Of The People, By The People” which describes how the direct sales model works for the average person.
The supplement also has information on the global reach of direct sales, how direct sellers are using technology to grow the business as well as how energy deregulation is using direct sales companies as a distribution channel.
